A very large and rare Cenedese Pelican with Scavo surface treatmentand applied gold leaf, in a gorgeous rich blue glass, which looks different in every light. This pelican is unsigned as many pieces were, I believe it could be the work of Ermanno Nason as he often used gold leaf on his Scavo glass sculptures and most of the other Scavo glass blowers didnt. This is one of two pelicans I have listed. The other pelican does have some repairs/damage and is priced accordingly.I am happy to do a good deal on the pair if anyone wants both of them.

Condition:This Cenedese Pelican is in great vintage condition. There is a small area to the very end of the beak that appears to have been filed down. This is listed for full accuracy and does not detract from this magnificent piece.
